The Demo has been announced as playable on Steam Deck, but that is not a Valve Verified rating. Native Linux support is not currently planned.

The Demo supports two-player local split-screen.
Hela Demo Remote Play Together: Network Error Workaround
Try joining player two after player one has entered the Demo alone. This developer-suggested join order depends on Steam recognizing the second input.

Hela: of Mice & Magic Shades: Solo Cave Door Solution
Leave one Shade on each of three pressure plates, then stand your mouse on the fourth. All four leaf symbols light up and the cave door opens.
Hela: of Mice & Magic Demo Objectives & Rituals
Tend to the Altars asks you to help two altars and collect 48 Glimmer to activate the zipline home. The ritual log lists six optional challenges.
Hela: of Mice & Magic Demo: Feed Fire & Return Home
At the stone-mouth fire, F starts the interaction.
Hela: of Mice & Magic Demo: Quest Tracking & Cave Map
Open Requests with J, select Ongoing and choose Track Request. The cave also contains a map mural you can inspect in the world.
